The Scott Pilgrim series from Oni Press is a recent discovery and brand new favorite of mine, and it’s the best comic-being-adapted-into-a-movie-by-Edgar-”Shaun of the Dead”-Wright-and-starring-Michael-Cera that you haven’t read. Anyway, today comes word that the filmmakers are casting Mary Elizabeth Winstead (she was in Grindhouse) as Ramona Flowers, female lead and mysterious ninja delivery girl.

You should probably go find the book and read it, so that two years from now when you see the movie (titled Scott Pilgrim vs the World) and love it, you won’t be racked with regret for not getting in-the-know much earlier.
